We tried some homemade ideas to hold up our balloon trees but the original equipment manufacturer products are clearly the best. The fiberglass construction makes them very durable and weather resistant and the pounding cap is a great innovation to prevent them from splitting during installation. I would only suggest that they be made in a fluorescent color scheme because, when not in use, the landscapers chopped them off when mowing the lawn.
